PURPOSE:To combine units so as to meet a requirement for multiple functions and to supply the adequate units to a user by attaching attachably and detachably switch units constituted by packaging switch groups intrinsic to the unit to be exchanged to a control substrate. CONSTITUTION:One array of a method for mounting the switch units is illustrated. An operating part 70 is covered by an external plate 71 provided easily with an aperture by bending and therefore the small piece part 71a thereof is removed when necessary and the switch unit 72 of the connected unit is inserted into a socket 74 of the control substrate 73 provided in the part 70 to connect the circuits between the units. The switch unit intrinsic to each switch and the switch unit common to a copying operation are incorporated into the part 70 in the above-mentioned way, by which an operating panel is manufactured. If the command and information relating to copying are set on the operation panel, the signals thereof are transmitted to the respective units constituting the image recorder and the respective units provide the functions so that the image recorder can play the role as a single unit. |
