PURPOSE:To enhance the sealing ability of a weather strip and as well to prevent the weather strip from rattling, by incorporating a soft magnetic material member having a magnetism and a resiliency, integrally with a part of the weather strip at the surface side at which the weather strip abuts against a vehicle body and a door which are also made of magnetic materials. CONSTITUTION:A flange 2 is projected upward from the inner edge of an opening edge section 1 of a steel plate body 1 in the trunk section of an automobile, and a weather strip 3 is attached to the flange 2. A pair of magnetic holding lips 7 as magnetic material members are integrally incorporated with the weather strip 3 in the upper sections of inside confronting surfaces of a trim part 4 of thereof, and the pair of lips 7 hold therebetween the flange 2. A support ridge 10 is integrally incorporated with and projected from the top center section of the trim part 4, and a cylindrical seal pipe 11 made of EPDM is bonded to the top of the ridge 10 by vulcanizing so that the seal pipe 11 is made in press contact with a trunk door T made of a steel plate. Further, a magnetic coating 12 as a magnetic material is integrally formed with the outer surface of the pipe 11. |
