PURPOSE:To reduce deteriorations of air-conditioning capacity and comfortable property of air conditioning by a method wherein the switching of a changeover valve is controlled so that a heat exchanger, having larger heat exchanging capacity between the heat exchanger for atmosphere and heat medium and the heat exchanger for reversed hot-water and the heat medium, is connected to a compressor. CONSTITUTION:The inverter 23, monitoring the electric current It of a main line at all times and controlling a demand controller 4 so as to reduce a frequency when the value of the electric current has exceeded a predetermined value of electric current, is provided. The heat exchanging capacity Q(DB0) of the atmosphere heat exchanger 25, effecting heat exchange between the atmosphere and heat medium, and the heat exchanging capacity Q(Tw) of the reserved hot-water heat exchanger 34, effecting heat exchange between the reserved hot-water in a hot-water supplier 3 and the heat medium, are compared and switching of the changeover valve V is controlled so as to connect either one of the heat exchangers 25, 34, which has the larger heat exchanging capacity, to the compressor 24 of an air conditioner 2. According to this method, the maximum available air-conditioning capacity may be obtained and the comfortable property of the air condition may be obtained by connecting the heat exchanger to the compressor as the condenser or evaporator of the inverter type air conditioner controlled so as to reduce the frequency during demand control.
