PURPOSE:To provide the titled paint which has excellent weather resistance, etc. and does not require baking at a high temp., containing a fluorine-contg. block copolymer obtd. by copolymerizing a vinyl monomer and a specified copolymer contg. peroxy or azo linkages. CONSTITUTION:A vinyl monomer contg. no fluorine atom, such as methyl acrylate, is copolymerized with a copolymer contg. peroxy or azo linkages obtd. by copolymerizing a polymeric peroxide (e.g. a compd. of formula I wherein n is 2-30) or a polyazo compd. (e.g. a compd. of formula II wherein m is 1-100) and a fluorine-contg. vinyl monomer (e.g. a compd. of formula III). Alternatively, the polymeric peroxide or the polyazo compd. and a vinyl monomer contg. no fluorine atom are copolymerized and the resulting copolymer is then copolymerized with the fluorine-contg. vinyl monomer. The resulting fluorine-contg. block copolymer is incorporated to obtain the desired fluororesin paint.
