PURPOSE:To enable smooth feeding of recording paper by changing over a means for housing recording before a recording drum stops rotating upon ending of transfer. CONSTITUTION:The original on glass 14 of an original platen is irradiated by an illuminating lamp 16 integral with a scanning mirror 15 and the reflected light thereof is scanned by scanning mirrors 15, 17 when the drum 11 is rotated to the home position thereof. The reflected light thereof is imaged on the drum 21 in an exposing part 21 via a lens 18, a mirror 19 and a mirror 20. The electrostatic latent image on the drum 21 is visualized as a toner image by a developing device 25 and is transferred onto transfer paper by a transfer electrifier 31. The transfer paper is supplied from a cassette 26-1 or 26-2 and the change- over of the cassettes 26-1, 26-2 is executed before the drum 21 stops rotating upon ending of the transfer. |
