PURPOSE:To reduce its cost by providing a destaticizing means which leads directly some light beams of an exposure device to an image carrier, irradiates them and destaticizes and an opening/closing means for opening and closing a shutter in accordance with the shift of an original platen on the destaticizing route. CONSTITUTION:In a destaticizer 19, a power removal light beam L1 is led to the destaticizing route separate from an image exposure light beam L from an exposure lamp 13, and a destaticizing shutter 65 is provided on the destaticizing route, and opened and closed in accordance with the action of the original platen 8 with the aid of a cam mechanism. Thus the cost can be reduced. |
