PURPOSE:To construct a microwave oven which is convenient in use and useful by a method wherein both a key part and a display part are arranged at the door of the microwave oven and its heating chamber can be viewed through the door. CONSTITUTION:A door 4 has a door frame 6 having a window 5, and a microwave shielding sheet 7 having several small holes therein is arranged in the window 5. A liquid crystal 12 is held and arranged by an ornamental plate 13 installed at the front surface of the frame body and a key board 11 is overlapped at the front surface of the ornamental plate 13. At the overlapped port of the door, it is not necessary to see the interior of the heating chamber it is possible to provide a cheap electrode of liquid crystal and an electrode of keyboard is of opaque material and further a part of the liquid crystal can be used with the ornamental plate. Further, either a part of the liquid crystal or a part of the keyboard is made of transparent electrode and it can be expanded to the window part of the frame. In this case, the size of the keyboard or the display can be of a sufficient value and they may be facilitated in operation. |
