Casting appts. is provided with a rotary table supporting a radial array of casting moulds which are associated with a storage hopper for epoxy resin maintained at the same temp. as the moulds, e.g. ca 150 degrees C. The storage hopper which is provided with a level indicator comprising as many chambers as there are moulds. Following level indication in the hopper and setting of the table in motion, the chambers, whose volumes corresp. to the mould cavities, are emptied fully of the resin. Arrangement dispenses with the large number of indicators or sensors required with known casting appts. The volume of the storage chambers of the storage hopper may be varied by a piston. To facilitate the ejection of a moulded housing the latter may be provided with notch for separation from the sprue. Ejection is effected by a fluid cylinder actuator.
