发明名称 LOW HYDROGEN TYPE COATED ELECTRODE
摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a Ti-B low hydrogen type coated electrode which yields a weld metal having a high COD value by coating a carbon steel core by a coating material contg. fluoride of boron so as to have a specific content of a B source. CONSTITUTION:The titled electrode is formed by coating the coating material contg. 0.4-5wt% fluoride of boron on the carbon steel core so as to contg. 0.03-0.5wt% B source in terms of B. NaBF4 or KBF4 is used as the fluoride of boron and other desirable components including about 2-12% Ti oxide in terms of TiO2, about 0.2-8% in total of >=1 kinds among Ti, Al and Mg, about 35- 60% carbonate such as CaCO3, about 10-30% metallic fluoride such as CaF2, about 1-7% Si and about 1-9% Mn may be incorporated therein. The curing of the coating material is thus eliminated and the bindability of the coating is improved.
