PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain hot water without waiting time by a simple construction wherein an auxiliary hot water supply unit comprising a hot water tank with a heating device and a mixing mechanism for mixing water with hot water supplied from a hot water supply unit provided on the upstream side is disposed on the immediate upstream side of a hot water supply faucet. CONSTITUTION:A water flow H passing through a hot water tank 11 and water C from a city water inlet 17 run to a flow rate distribution float 19, and the mixture ratio between the two water flows H and C is varied in accordance with the position of the float 19 changed by the operation of a knob 21, whereby a resultant temperature can be obtained. Hot water supplied from a hot water supply unit through a long piping is stored in the hot water tank 11, and it is heated by a sheathed heating wire 12 under the control of a control circuit 28 and a switch 29, so as to be kept at a high temperature. According to this construction, the temperature of the flowing water C is detected by a heat-sensitive bellows 20, the distribution float 19 is moved in response to the detection, and thus hot water of desired temperature is supplied 18 when a faucet is opened. This construction enables the supply of hot water of high temperature without waiting time. |
