<p>PURPOSE:To attain miniaturization by providing a reel shaft freely rotatably to a sub-casing so as to decrease a size in one direction more than the size of a tape cassette. CONSTITUTION:The tape recorder consists of a main casing 1, a sub-casing 2 and a cassette cover 3. A pinch roller 5 and a magnetic head 6 are fitted to the depth of a cassette holder 4 and a couple of positioning pins 7 are arranged to the upper face of the main casing 1. In opening the sub-casing 2, reel shafts 8, 9 at the upper face are exposed. In closing the cassette cover 3 while turning it, the reel shafts 8, 9 are inserted to a reel shaft inserting hole of the cassette casing 10 and then the tape cassette 10 is usable. A couple of the reel shafts 8, 9 projected onto the sub-casing 2 are engaged to the reel in the tape cassette 10, the tape cassette 10 is projected by a length being nearly a half at the back side of the tape recorder so as to miniaturize the tape recorder.</p> |
