PURPOSE:To obtain a headphone of high sensitivity that can reproduce low- pitched sound by attaching an elastic, air-impermeable resin member to the open end face of a housing with an adhesive and combining an air-permeable foamed resin on the resin member. CONSTITUTION:A two-side adhesive 7 is applied on the side to be stuck to the baffle plate of the housing 4 and thereby an elastic but air-impermeable annular resin member 6 is attached to the open end face of the housing 4. A year pad 5 made of hollow foamed resin of urethane group having continuous air bubbles is attached on the resin member 6. In a headphone of such constitution, sound becomes hard to go out from the open end of the housing 4 owing to the elastic but air-impermeable resin member 6 and becomes agreeable to hear, and reproduction of low-pitched sound can be improved. |
