A sloping cylindrical duct (32) has a central, rotating, hollow shaft. Radial fingers (105) are mounted on an eccentric cam inside a drum, and are driven by a crankshaft. They move the crop axially and strip it to loosen the grain. - The fingers are attached to the drive shaft by adjustable plates and operate through bearing holes in the hollow shaft. They are set at angles to provide the axial flow. Each finger is releasably mounted in a separate bearing. |
