PURPOSE:To perform a plotting with a writing tool without alteration of the mechanism section by use of a writing tool cassette holding the writing tool freely displaceable in a loadable cassette instead of a cassette wheel. CONSTITUTION:A writing tool 92 is held displaceably with a cassette 91 almost as large as that of a wheel cassette, a selection motor 36 is driven and rotated to turn a disc 97 of a writing tool cassette 90 by a specified value in a given direction thereby displacing the writing tool 92 between the printing position (plotting position) and the retreat position. The vertically movement actions of the pen are combined with the movement of the carriage and the rotation of the platen to perform a plotting. |
