Incorporation of a seed counter (24), whose counting signals are compared with the signals from an area meter, in one or more seed tubes (23) of a sowing machine enables ready and rapid adjustement of the machine for sowing of a specific, desired number of seeds per m<2>. To improve the accuracy of counting, the seeds are accelerated and spread before they reach the seed counter, preferably by means of a weak air flow applied by a nozzle (25). |
