In a data transmission system for the presetting of actuators (22- 25) of printing presses, there is arranged between an electronic computer system (7) connected to the press and a data recording and reproducing device (9) having a group request memory (10) a data distributor (1) the core of which is formed by an electronic separating filter (26). The separating filter (26) can be moved via a control logic (2) into various filter positions, thus enabling all-round and directionally independent data traffic between individual or a plurality of system components. The allocation and direction of the data flow from and to the group request memory (10) are determined by the particular filter position. Characteristics such as date, job name and number can be input into the group request memory (10) in the form of a list of contents and illustrated on a display (12) via a keyboard (11) coupled to the data distributor (1). The intermediately stored press setting values of the actuators (22- 25) can then be recorded in standardised form on the group request memory (10), and in the case of repeat requests for driving the actuators (22, 25) in order to preset the latter can be retrieved once again in a destandardised form using the list of contents. This enables the data of a multiplicity of printing jobs on various presses of different designs to be stored on one storage medium. <IMAGE> |
