PURPOSE:To prevent generation of carbon monoxide by a method wherein when a period of time of use in which a clogging may occur in a filter is elapsed, the timer detects this condition to cause the gas burner to terminate its burning operation. CONSTITUTION:A period of time for use in which a certain clogging may be expected to occur in a filter 8 is set in advance and this condition is fed in advance in a control unit 11. When a period of time for use calculated and counted by a timer 14 is reached to a predetermined period of time for use, a control unit 11 displays it with a display unit 12 and at the same time closes a combustion control valve 5 and finally terminates the combustion in the gas burner 3. When the combustion is terminated with a signal from the control unit 11, the filter 8 is cleaned and then reset, the timer 14 is reset by a reset button 15 to restart the combustion. With this arrangement, it is possible to prevent a generation of carbon monoxide caused by an incomplete combustion in the gas burner in advance. |
