PURPOSE:To obtain a fishing bait suitable especially for the ground-bait, etc., resistant to degradation and causing little problems of ill odor and environmental pollution, by sealing fish, shellfish or its discarded part in a water- and heat- resistant bag, and sterilizing with heat under high pressure. CONSTITUTION:Fish, shellfish, or discarded part of the fish, etc. such as head, intestines, etc. is washed to remove the undesired part, optionally subjected to the brine-treatment and other pretreatment such as seasoning, flavoring, coloring, etc., and sealed in a bag made of a material resistant to water and heat. The content is sterilized for about 15-40min at high temperature and pressure, i.e. about 0.2-1kg/cm<2> and about 105-120 deg.C, and cooled quickly. |
