PURPOSE:To attain the densification of a recording head, in the recording head wherein electrodes are provided to a heat generating resistance layer and a heat generation part is formed thereto, by providing a plurality of orifices to both surfaces of a substrate at same pitches in parallel so as to form zigzag arrangement in both surfaces. CONSTITUTION:Orifices 5 are provided to the upper part of a substrate 1 at pitches (l)... in parallel while orifices 5' are provided to the lower part thereof at the same pitches (l)... in parallel but the positions thereof are set so that the pitches (l) of said orifices 5, 5' are shifted by 1/2l in both sides of the substrate 1. The constitution of the lower part of the substrate 1 is same to that of the upper part thereof except that the orifices 5' are arranged so as to provided the shift of the above-mentioned pitch 1/2l. Therefore, zigzag arrangement is formed in both surfaces of the substrate 1 and a recording head has a structure such that orifice density becomes two times. By this mechanism, high density recording is enabled. |
