PURPOSE:To peel husk of coconut without breaking its shell, by making cuts on a coconut from its bud with a knife, sandwiching it in the state, extending the knife while pushing it out. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, the coconut A is inserted into the round hole 11 a of the horizontal plate 11 while making the bud 5 face downward, and it is placed on the knife 12. Then, the cylinder device 22 is operated, and the piston rod 20 is extended, the pressing member 21 at the tip of the piston rod 20 is lowered, brought into contact with the top of the coconut A, and the coconut A is pushed out downward. Six radiated cuts are made on the bud 5 by the blades 14 of the knife 12. Then the pressing member 21 is further lowered, and the cylinder device 18 is simultaneously operated at a given timing, the piston rod 19 is shortened, the knife 12 is rotated and extended. Then, the husk is efficiently released from the shell.
