Method of making dendrites by means of electroplating, where operation takes place with an electrolytic solution of lower concentration of metal ions than usual and with a higher current than usual, and where the cathode including the surface to be electroplated is completely outside the electrolytic solution which is sprayed onto the surface to be electroplated, characterized in that the cathode is provided closely above the surface of the electrolytic solution, that such a quantity of the electrolytic solution is sprayed onto the surface to be provided with the dendrites that the entire surface is covered thereby, and that a continuous curtain of the electrolytic solution is maintained between the bottom of the cathode and the surface of the electrolytic solution.
