In an apparatus for metering filling material using a weighing container, two conveying sections which lead away from a supply container are provided. The first one, which is intended for fine metering, opens out directly into the weighing container. A second conveying section, which is intended for rough metering, opens out into an ante-chamber, which is connected to the weighing container. A locking device is provided between the ante-chamber and the weighing container.
