PURPOSE:To uniform indoor temperature and purify indoor air both efficiently by a method wherein a filter is provided at a suction port or an air discharging port and is opened or closed by an operating member made of shape memory alloy whose shape is changed by the change of ambient temperature. CONSTITUTION:When warm-air ascends from a stove B and air temperature at a high space in a room A is increased, the operating member 10 begins to contract and finally becomes the memorized shape thereof in which the member is contracted perfectly. High-temperature air in the high space in the room is sucked from the suction port 2 and is discharged downward from the air discharging port 4 by the rotation of a transverse flow runner 6, thus, the indoor air is circulated. When the air temperature of the high space is reduced, the operating member 10 is extended by the weight of an electrostatic filter 8 which extends in conjunction with the extension of the member 10 and covers the suction port 2 finally. Thereafter, all of the air, sucked from the suction port 2, passes through the electrostatic filter 8, therefore, dust or the like, contained in the air, may be collected by the electrostatic filter 8. |
