PURPOSE:To obtain a data signal having high efficiency and high accuracy by converting a 10-bit MSB into 1 with remaining 9-bit continuous 0 numbers converted into signals 0 and 1 of 2 when an 8-bit signal is code-converted into a 10-bit signal. CONSTITUTION:When an 8-bit signal is code-converted into a 10-bit signal, the first bit of 10 bits is always set at 1 and then at <=2 even in case the number K of remaining 9-bit 0 between 1 and 1 connects codes to each other. Thus both the minimum and maximum inverting intervals Tmin and Tmax are reduced and also the detection window width (demodulation phase margin) Tw is increased. Thus it is possible to obtain a data signal having reduced low frequency component with high efficiency and high accuracy.
