摘要 PURPOSE:To realize an amorphous solar cell which can be continuously produced in a roll-to-roll system and is high in productivity per unit time, and moreover, whose utilization factor of light is high, by a method wherein the substrate is formed into a flexible film, the surface of one side at least between both surfaces of which has been formed into a rough surface in such a way as to become a roughened surface. CONSTITUTION:A conductive layer 21, an amorphous semiconductor layer 22 and a transparent conductive layer 23, which are respectively used as a lower electrode, a photo voltaic layer and an upper electrode which constitute a photo voltaic cell 20, have been continuously formed on a substrate 10 along the roughness of the substrate 10, such as its wave front. As the wave front has slanting surfaces 11a and 11b opposing to each other, lights 101, 102 and 103, which are reflected by the surface of the solar cell and the interface of each of the layers 21, 22 and 23 and are radiated from the surface, among incident lights 100 to incide vertically to the enveloping surface of the wave front, are directed toward the mutually opposing slanting surfaces 11a and 11b without being radiated wastefully and can be made to incide in the amorphous semiconductor layer 22 being laminated on the slanting surfaces. As a result, an effect that the current amount of generated light is increased can be fulfilled by the reabsorption of unutilized light.
