PURPOSE:To reduce the size and weight of a silencer and to prevent steam from flowing into the side of a safety valve backward, by using a collecting silencer as silencer and separately providing a diffuser for a steam diffusing line and a diffuser for a safety valve exhaust line. CONSTITUTION:One set of a collecting silencer 6 which is common to a safety valve exhaust line 4 and a steam diffusing line 5, is provided, and a diffuser 8 for the steam diffusing line 5 and a diffuser 9 for the safety valve exhaust line 4 are separately provided. By this arrangement, it is possible to cope with each of safety valves, the exhaust line and the steam diffusing line in a boiler equipment only by the use of one set of a small, compact, light silencer. Through the silencer is used in the form of a collecting silence, there is no fear of steam flowing into each safety valve backward even during the diffusion of steam. Hence, when a boiler starts its operation, the controlling of the blow-off and blow- down pressure of the safety valve can be done safely and rapidly even during the diffusion of steam.
