摘要 |
PURPOSE:To obtain an Al alloy for electric conduction having high electric conductivity and high strength by adding specified amounts of Cu and Ni to an Al matrix. CONSTITUTION:This Al alloy for electric conduction consists of 0.2-0.7% Cu, 0.2-6.0% Ni and the balance Al. By this composition the Al alloy has >=about 9.0kg/mm.<2> tensile strength and >=about 40% electric conductivity and does not cause casting crack. When a high-speed motor having a squirrel-cage rotor is made of the Al alloy, the motor has a smaller loss and higher reliability than a high-speed motor made of a conventional cast Al alloy.
