The particles or fibres are mixed with at least one synthetic thermo-settable binder. The apparatus comprises a heated mould (10) in the form of a tunnel, the internal cross-section of which corresponds, at least in the zone of hardening of the mixture, to that of the profile (13) to be manufactured, and means (11) for pushing the mixture, continuously or periodically, through the mould (10), and at least one microwave generator (18) mounted on the walls of the mould (10) in the zone of hardening. Use: manufacturing of profiles from vegetable particles, especially wood scrap such as sawdust and wood shavings, textile fibres and mineral particles such as sand or similar. <IMAGE> |
