摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To execute a cursor display at an exact position, also to lighten a burden of a CPU for the cursor display, and to improve its processing efficiency by constituting a titled system so that a cursor display address can be designated by one bit unit in the horizontal direction. CONSTITUTION:A cursor display address CAD of a 16-dot unit and a dot address dAD are written on a cursor display address register 5 by a cursor display address write command generated from a CPU which is not shown on the figure. A comparator 6 compares the CAD and an output DAD of a display address counter 2, and when both inputs coincide with each other, a coincidence detecting signal CE is outputted, a count operation of a cursor pattern memory address counter 7 is started, and also the dAD is loaded as an initial value of a dot counter 4. When the contents of the counter 4 become zero by the count operation, a count end signal TC is generated, and by this TC, cursor pattern data in a memory 8 corresponding to an output of the counter 7 of that time point is loaded on a shift register 9.</p>
