The contacting device for a plug-in card (1) which is like a credit card and has an integrated semiconductor module contains a slide (2) having a push-in channel for the plug-in card (1). Once the plug-in card (1) has been pushed in, the slide (2) is displaced in the pushing-in direction. At the same time, a contact plate (5) having spring contacts (12) is moved in the direction of the slide (2) in such a manner that the spring contacts (12) are seated vertically on contact points (13) of the plug-in card (1). The slide (2) is guided using column guides (3, 4) or roller supports (16). The contact plate (5) is arranged in a moving manner on the slide (2) and is moved in the direction of the slide (2) during pushing in, using oblique guides (11). In order to move the slide (2) back into its original position when the plug-in card (1) is removed, the plug-in card (1) is connected to the slide (2) in a force-fitting manner using a plastic lip (18) of grippers (23) or rollers (21). <IMAGE>
