PURPOSE:To improve the performance, by winding a magnetically hard magnetic wire in the recess part, which is formed in the side surface of a disc shaped non- magnetic base body. CONSTITUTION:Alloy wire, which comprises, e.g., 39.5wt% Co, 19.8wt% Mn, 0.34wt% C, 1.4wt% Si and Fe for a remaining part, is wound by 30 turns. Both ends of the wire is fixed by screws. The magnetizing part of a rotary magnetic scale formed in this way is attached to a rotary shaft 8 of a motor 9.
