The invention relates to a hot-air drier for bulk materials, of the type comprising a closed enclosure 1 containing superposed conveyors 8, 9, 10 which are driven in alternate directions. The drier comprises an upper blowing chamber 1a and a lower air recovery chamber 1b arranged to cause a flow of hot air to pass in its entirety through the layers of bulk materials arranged on the conveyors. The latter have conveyor belts pierced with a multitude of perforations to allow the passage of the air and are associated with sealing means which force the air to pass through the layers. <IMAGE>
