PURPOSE:To bond a metal to a metal in high peel strength, by bonding the metals with an alpha-cyanoacrylate adhesive via a powdery layer having a thickness thinner than a specific level. CONSTITUTION:Resin powder such as nylon, polyester, etc., inorganic powder such as alumina, glass powder, or metallic powder, etc. is scattered on a metal such as steel plate to form a powder layer having a thickness of <=200mu. Another metal such as steel plate is placed on the powder layer, and an alpha-cyanoacrylate of formula (R is alkyl, allyl, phenyl, etc.) is filled in the space between the powder particles to effect bonding of the metal plates.
