<p>The output of a pseudo-random sequence generator (SR,X1) is fed to a comparator (CP1, M1) which produces an output when a selected number of bits of the generator output matches a comparison word (from CR1); the number of bits selected (by MR1) determines the error rate. Correlation problems are reduced by changing the comparison word (eg. by loading latch CR1 from counter LC incremented at clock rate) each time a match is found. <IMAGE></p> |
