PURPOSE:To maintain uniformly the aperture width of slender plates on account of thermal expansion by providing projecting parts to said plates with a barrel formed by engaging both ends of core bars inserted to both ends of the slender plates which are many spacers to constitute one side of a polygonal shape so as to support said ends with side plates. CONSTITUTION:Semispherical embosses 10 are provided as projecting parts in the positions of slender plates 14 shifting slightly from the middle part thereof by means such as a press or the like. Many pieces of such plates are alternately stacked by disposing one through-hole 14a of the plate 14 and the other plate 14 alternately on the right and left between the plates 14 facing each other on the same row supported between the same core bars 3 in the state of projecting the embosses respectively in the specified direction. The bars 3 are inserted into the holes 14 to connect the plates. A parallel cross-shaped screen-like sheet 15a having the many apertures 6 formed of the plates 14 as spacers is thus formed. Such sheet is bent around the bars 13 and both ends of the bars 3 are screwed to side plates 2b, 2b by which a polygonal barrel 1 for plating is produced.
