The automatic brake controller comprises a body with a passage for the brake fluid and valves mounted in the body to control the passage of the fluid, these valves comprising a main and secondary valve. Two electromagnets are mounted at opposite ends of the body to selectively actuate the control valves, and an electric circuit selectively excites the electromagnet coils. - The electromagnets can be activated to vary the brake pressure, particularly during starting on slopes, and the electric circuit associated with the controller correctly switches the brake lights. Microswitches on the clutch pedal operate the electromagnets, with handbrake contacts connected in series to passivate the system while the vehicle is stationary.
|
