PURPOSE:To prevent the lubricating oil from flowing out to the refrigerating cycle by covering the whole refrigerant gas intake chamber communicating to a rotor coupling chamber with a discharge chamber and providing an oil separator and an oil reservoir in a casing. CONSTITUTION:The valve chamber 31 of this Wankel type rotary compressor is located at a portion opening to a refrigerant gas discharge chamber 20. Moreover, an oil separator 49 is provided between the inner peripheral surface of a center case 4 and a rear case 7 and the outer peripheral surface of a rear side housing member 12 and a rear end housing member. An oil reservoir 50 is provided at the bottom section of the discharge chamber 20, and the lubricating oil is fed from the oil reservoir 50 to various positions via oil feed paths.
