An answering machine records a data and a time of received call automatically with a caller's message. It consists of a ring detector(RDET), a microprocessor(MPU), an announce deck(AND), a message deck(MED), an voice synthesizer(SPS), and a voice memory(SPM) . When a ring tone is detected, the address of the word data stored in a memory of the microprocessor is sent to the voice synthesizer with a control signal and pulles out the data in the voice memory. The data is sent again to the voice synthesizer to produce the voice through the amplifier.
