PURPOSE:To attain a small-sized and light damper having variable spring constant by providing a sub-spring of a damper having variable spring constant which comprises a plurality of small-diameter coiled springs. CONSTITUTION:A spring separator 12 is fixed to the lower end of a piston rod 11 extended downward from a cylinder 10 of a hydraulic cylinder unit 9. Small- diameter coiled springs 13 of the same number as that of cylinder units are installed and contracted between the spring separator 12 and a hydraulic cylinder unit 9 disposed between circular brackets 8. A main spring 15 is installed and contracted between the spring separator 12 and a spring sheet 14 fixed to the outer periphery of the lower portion of the cylinder 1. |
