PURPOSE:To assure pressure in a reheating system by controlling reheating steam pressure with use of a high pressure bypass valve until a vacuum state of the condenser of an electric power generating plant having a high/low pressure turbine bypass system is established. CONSTITUTION:An electric power generating plant comprising a high pressure turbine 6, a low pressure turbine 7, and an electric power generator 10 further includes a high pressure turbine bypass valve 11 and a low pressure turbine bypass valve 12. The turbine is controlled at starting thereof such that outlet pressure 18 of a reheater 3 is assured by means of the high pressure bypass valve 11 until a vacuum state is established in a condenser 9. Hereby, steam supply to the reheating steam pipe is effected most preferentially whereby supply of auxiliary steam is conducted without interruption. |
