Pressure reducing valve with progressive pressurising for a pneumatic installation comprising actuators, especially jacks. The spring 30 of a pressure reducing valve 25 is slowly compressed by the increasing force of the piston 2 of the jack which is supplied with pressure from the network through a flow rate reducer 5 and a microvalve 13. The deflection given to the spring, its force and consequently the downstream pressure, result from the adjustment on the stem 9 of the control wheel 8 limiting by abutment the working stroke of the piston. A pressure leak sampled downstream is then shut off and a signal appears at 7. Removing the control of the microvalve 13 gives rise to the return of the piston 2 to the rest position and, by opening the discharge channel 31, emptying the installation to the atmosphere.
