PURPOSE:To enhance power transmitting efficiency by screwing a plurality of roller screws, which rotate in an epicyclic manner, with a worm wheel. CONSTITUTION:A worm wheel 3, with which follower shaft 1 is engaged and locked into one body, is provided with a worm body 4 placed normal to the shaft center line of the wheel 3. In this worm body 4, a plurality of roller screws 7, which are placed at an equal spacing in the radial direction a screw part 6 of a driving shaft 5 situated in the center of the worm body 4, are screwed with the screw part 6, and the both ends of the roller screws 7 are supported by supporting boards 8 in a freely rotatable manner. The inside of the supporting boards 8 of the roller screws 7 is gear-cut so as to form pinions 9, which are engaged with gears 10 placed at the both ends of the screw part 6 of the driving shaft 5. Several of the plurality of roller screws, which rotate in an epicyclic manner, of the worm body 4 are screwed with the worm wheel 3 at surface F. |
