PURPOSE:To aim at enlarging the setting range of torque values, by disposing a torque limit means including a coil spring between reverse rollers associated with paper feed rollers and a shaft supporting the reverse rollers, and as well by devising the method of rotating the above-mentioned shaft. CONSTITUTION:Reverse rollers 1a, 1b are loosely fitted, by means of sleeves 2a, 2b, onto a shaft 3 which is rotated by a driving motor 14 through a belt 16, resilient belts 11a, 11b wound around pulleys 5a, 5b fixed to both ends of the shaft 3, etc. and which is supported at its both ends grooves 8a in support plates 7a. Friction plates 4a, 4b are disposed between the pulleys 5a, 5b and are secured to the shaft 3, and the sleeves 2a, 2b are pressed against the friction plates 4a, 4b by means of a coil spring 6 so that a torque limit means is constituted. Further, a pair of paper feed rollers 12a are provided so that they may be made in contact with the above-mentioned reverse rollers 1a, 1b, and are also rotated by means of the motor 14. |
