PURPOSE:A slurry fuel consisting of a liquid and crude particles of solid fuel such as coal is crushed again immediately before use into fine particles of specific sizes to improve the fluidity of the slurry (handleability) and combustibility. CONSTITUTION:A slurry fuel composed of coarse particles of solid fuel which contains less than about 70% of 200mesh pass and a liquid is crushed again, before use, by means of wet-type crushers 7 and 7a to increase the 200mesh pass over 70% and to adjust the content of the solid carbon to about 50% to regulate the objective slurry fuel.
