A single lifting and forcing pump 31 provided with a lifting valve 28 and a forcing valve 29 firstly allows the oil in the jack 8 controlling the pendular movement of the bow to be sucked in so as to lift the latter up, then to return the oil once again to this jack in order to bring this bow back down again. The pump, by the use of the valves 28 and 29, when the valve 29 is not short-circuited, also allows a quantity of oil to be lifted from a tank 27 to send it into the jack 8 in order to determine the advance of the blade in the metal for the next working phase.
