PURPOSE:A wiper blade having an extremely low coefficient of friction and excellent resistance to oxidation, ozone, chemicals, abrasion, and permanent deformation, prepared by subjecting a wiper blade formed of a specified copolymer to fluorination. CONSTITUTION:A wiper blade formed of an ethylene/propylene copolymer (EPM) or an ethylene/propylene/diene compound copolymer (EPDM) is subjected to fluorination. In this way, fluorine atoms are bonded to the carbon atoms on the surface layer of EPM or EPDM to obtain a wiper blade having a low coefficient of friction and excellent resistances to oxidation, ozone, chemicals, abrasion, and permanent deformation.
