PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of moment even though a centrifugal force is applied to the center of gravity, to elongate the life of the device and to decrease errors, by providing two legs at a counterweight part, and making the center of gravity of the legs and the center of gravity of an L shaped attaching part symmetrical with respect to a tuning fork shaft. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric element 30, which detects an input angular speed OMEGA, is attached to a base table 2. A tuning fork 1 comprises a vibrating mass part 1-1, a deflecting part 1-2, a base part 1-3, an L shaped part 1-4 on the part 1-3 and a counterweight 1-5 beneath the part 1-3. The tuning fork 1 is fixed to the element 30. Two legs 1-5' holding an attaching part 30' is attached to the weight 1-5. Its center of gravity G2 is moved to the lower prt from the mass part 1-1. The center of gravity G1 of the L shaped attaching part 1-4 and the center of gravity G2 are made symmetrical around the Z axis and the X axis. Therefore an input angular speed OMEGA acts around the Z axis. Centrifugal forces f1 and f2 act on the centers of gravity G1 and G2, respectively, and movement M is not yielded. Therefore, the gyroscope device characterized by the long life and no error can be obtained. |
