A displacing device which is accommodated by the bottom links of a tractor is attached to a silo withdrawal appliance for withdrawing parallelepiped feed blocks from flat silos. The displacing device consists of a guide beam on which a sliding sleeve to which the silo withdrawal appliance is fastened is arranged in such a way that it can be laterally displaced via a pressure-medium cylinder. This displacing device is used if the tractor is wider than the cutting width of the appliance so that, even in the case of flat silos with fixed side walls, the feed can be withdrawn without residual quantities on the side walls. <IMAGE>
