Electronic step counter

An electronic step counter is proposed which is arranged for being attached to a shoe (1). The step counter exhibits a step sensor (30) which is carried by the shoe and detects every step of the user. The sensor (30) is provided with a mounting plate (20) which is attached to the shoe (1). A counter (30) is removably arranged on the mounting plate (20) and contains electronic components which calculate the step signals and control a display section. Electrical contacts are provided between the counter (30) and the mounting plate (20). <IMAGE>
