Device has a cylindrical, translucent and semi-rigid tube designed to be inserted into the aorta above the valve. The tube is open at its lower end and closed at its near end. The latter has 3 openings (4,4bis,5), the first is for liquid, the second for a camera and the third for a pressure gauge. At the lower part of the tube is a rigid annulus surrounded by a locking belt by grips (15). The device is used for testing the sealing of an artificial gate valve inserted in the aorta. Testing is achieved by insertion of water into the tube and raising the pressure while monitoring operation of the valve using the camera (grace of the transparent tube) and the pressure transducer.
